The Crystal Office Systems-developed applications WinLock and WinLock Professional are two properly good applications that perform a specific task: computer access management. Use any of these two applications (the Professional version has more features, and to my mind, more is better) and you will be able to restrict access to certain Windows functions (like the Control Panel), you can restrict access to certain files and applications, and you can restrict access to certain websites. You can even specify how much time a user can spend in front of the computer.

There’s no doubt that WinLock and WinLock Professional are great. So where does WinLock Remote Administrator fit into this picture. What can it do?

WinLock Remote Administrator can perform a simple task: it allows you to control and configure WinLock or WinLock Professional remotely. You don’t have to be in front of the computer to configure WinLock or WinLock Professional; you can do this over the network, from a remote location, by simply using WinLock Remote Administrator.

Using WinLock is a simple process – the application comes with an easy to navigate interface that makes it quite easy to use all of WinLock’s functions.
